Registration & Commitment

When you register, you’re confirming your child’s place in our program. Although payment isn’t required at registration, please know that registration means you’re committed to joining us. We send an invoice shortly after registration, and we expect that invoice to be paid by its due date. This policy helps us keep seats available for every family.

Invoice & Payment Deadlines

We issue invoices within three days of registration. All Special Program fees are due seven days after registration. (For Summer 2026 Early Bird registrations, invoices must be paid by May 7, 2026. Please note that if your payment is late and you haven’t contacted our office, the Early Bird Discount will no longer apply.)

Cancellation Policy

We understand plans can change. That’s why we offer a 24-hour grace period after registration. If you cancel within this window, you won’t be responsible for any payment and no cancellation fee will apply. After 24 hours, cancellation fees apply as follows:

• Cancel within 6 days of registration: 25% fee
• Cancel between 7 and 14 days after registration: 50% fee
• Cancel 15 days or more after registration: 100% fee
  

Important: Once payment has been made, if you later cancel (except when a bus request is rejected), you will be charged a full 100% cancellation fee.

To cancel, simply email us at announcements@joy-connect.com with your child’s name, registration date, and reason for canceling.

Program Changes

If you need to adjust your child’s class days or bus service, please call us. We’ll send you a “Change of Status” form via email. Please note that changes may not be possible if the class or bus schedule is full. A non-refundable fee applies for changes:

• Class schedule change: ¥2,000
• Bus schedule change: ¥5,000
  

Bus Service Guidelines‍

• Your bus fees are invoiced along with your tuition. Please review our Joy Bus Rules for details.
• If you cancel or change your bus service after receiving your invoice, a fee of ¥5,000 will apply. (In refund cases, we will refund the bus fee minus this charge.)
• If you require a different pickup or drop-off location on different days, each unique route must be secured as a separate bus schedule. For example, if you need home pickup on Monday to Wednesday and a relative’s address on Thursday and Friday, each will be charged as a full bus service.
• There are no refunds or credits for missed bus service.
• If bus service is essential to your registration and we cannot provide it, we will offer a credit (for members) or a full refund (for non-members) within about two weeks.
  

Bus Cancellation

Bus service cancellations made by 12:00 midnight on the day of application are free. After that, you are responsible for the full bus fee as a cancellation fee. If you need to change your bus service, each request incurs a fee of ¥5,000.
