Open to children aged 2-6, our multi-age program offers a diverse and engaging experience. With various activities, games, and learning opportunities, your child will have a summer to remember.

Set Extended Care Packages
- AM Set (8 am ~): +¥5,000 per week

Extended care ordered outside of Set Extended Care Packages is ¥1000 per 30 mins. No school lunch or bus service is available this week.

Joy Summer Program 2024!
Joy Summer offers a variety of age-appropriate activities for children 12 months old to 4th grade.

What is Joy Summer?
Joy Summer students will enjoy a mix of outdoor and indoor activities, such as water play at the park, team-building games, and hands-on summer crafts designed to spark creativity.
Your child will gain a sense of community and belonging as they form friendships and develop essential skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and self-expression. They will create lasting memories and friendships while having fun and learning new skills.

Daily Schedule and Extended Care
8:00 am - 9:30 am - AM Extended Care (Paid)
- AM Extended Care provides an early drop-off option for parents before the regular program begins.
9:30 am - 1:30 pm - Regular Program
- The day starts with a morning circle, followed by engaging in crafts or learning songs

1:30 pm- 3:00 pm - Free Extended Care
- Our complimentary extended care is available to all Summer Fun program students. So even though the main events have ended, we may continue with unfinished crafts, enjoy group storytime, or engage in playtime!
3:00 pm - 6:00 pm - PM Extended Care (Paid)
- Accommodates students of all ages. We offer a small snack and a variety of activities and playtimes during this period.
⚠️ Week 6 PM Extended Care is only available until 3pm.
Extended Care Fees
Special Program Extended Care Tickets
Tickets offer the most convenience as they can be used for specific days, allowing you to purchase only the required amount. Tickets can be purchased at the Joy the World School Office starting in July 2024. These tickets are valid exclusively for Joy to the World Special Programs.

Summer T-Shirt Design Contest!
Every year, we love creating a fun new design for our Joy Summer t-shirt. We've had so many wonderful designs in the past! To celebrate our 25th Anniversary, we want everyone to join in the excitement.
This year, we invite everyone in our Joy community to submit a design for our Summer t-shirt. Artists of all ages are welcome! The winning design will be on the t-shirt that all our summer students will wear.
Here's how to enter:
- Include a drawing of Mr. Joy (Get creative! Draw him having summer fun!) into your T-shirt design!
- Turn in your design by June 7, 2024, to the school office or your child's teacher.
- Download the design form or pick one up at Joy!
- One entry per person (children, parents, and siblings can enter too!)
- We may slightly change the winning design to fit best on a t-shirt.
- The winning design will be printed in one-color so simple designs work best!

Rules
Enrollment
Sign-up Confirmation
- After signing up online, you'll get a confirmation email. If you don't see it, please call the school right away. We can't process your application without the confirmation.
Invoices
- We'll email your invoice to the email address you used when signing up.
Important Rules
Early Bird Discount:
- To get the Early Bird Discount, pay your invoice by the due date.
- If you pay late without letting us know, you won't get the discount.
Adding Weeks:
- Add weeks before the Early Bird deadline to keep both discounts (Early Bird and multi-week).
- Add weeks after the Early Bird deadline, and you'll still get the multi-week discount, but not the Early Bird discount.
- If you add weeks after June 14th, you'll pay full price (no discounts). Availability may be limited.
Absences
- We can't offer refunds or make-ups for missed days (this includes extended care).
Food Allergies
- If your child has food allergies, they may need to bring their own lunch or snacks. Please call us for more information. There's no change in tuition for this.
Changing Weeks:
- To change weeks, please call us.
- We'll email you a "Change of Status" form to fill out.
- Please note that changes depend on availability and whether we can adjust the bus schedule.
- Class Schedule Change fee: ¥2,000 (non-refundable).
- Bus Schedule Change fee: ¥5,000 (non-refundable).
T-shirt Changes:
- We cannot exchange t-shirts. If you need a different size, please place a new order.
Toilet Training
- Children in the 3-6-year-old program must be fully potty trained.
Summer Cancellation Policy
24-Hour Grace Period
- You can cancel within 24 hours of registering without any fees.
How to Cancel:
- To cancel a registration, please email announcements@joy-connect.com with your child's name, registration date, and reason for cancellation.
Cancellation Fees:
- Cancel 6 days after registration: 25% of tuition and fees
- Cancel 7-14 days after registration: 50% of tuition and fees
- Cancel 15+ days after registration: 100% of tuition and fees
Invoice and Payment
- We'll send your invoice within 3 days of registration. Payment is due 7 days after the registration date.
Summer Bus Rules (Weeks 1 to 5)
Weeks
- Summer Bus Service is only available for Week 1 to 5. (⚠️There is no bus for Week 6.)
Fees before May 6:
- One-way: ¥3,750 per week
- Round-trip: ¥6,000 per week
Deadline: May 6, 2024, 3:00 PM
Bus Cancellation or Schedule Change Fee: ¥5,000
Pick-up/Drop-off: Times and address must stay the same for the whole week.
Special Schedules: Each different schedule requires a separate full bus fee.
No Refunds/Credits: For missed bus rides.
Refunds for Unavailable Bus Service: If bus service is required for your child to attend, and we cannot provide it, we'll give you a credit (for members) or a full refund (for non-members). Please allow approximately 2 weeks for processing
Late Summer Bus Signups
Limited Availability: Bus sign-ups after May 6th are subject to space availability. We cannot guarantee bus service after this deadline. Please do not assume that bus service will be available for late sign-ups.
Fees After May 6:
- One-Way ¥4,250 per week
- Round-trip: ¥6,500 per week
Late Sign-up Fee (after May 6): ¥2,000 service fee
