Hello dear Joy Families,
As we move toward the end of the Term and look forward to our highly anticipated Final Performance, we want to thank you for the kindness, flexibility, and encouragement you have shown throughout the many changes of the past few months. Your support has helped our community stay strong and connected.
Today, we must share news that we know will touch many of you. Austin, who has been building the PreK team together with Aina, will be leaving Joy due to personal reasons. Since joining us in April 2023, Austin has brought positive energy, professionalism, and genuine care to every role he has taken on. He has been an important part of our school, and we will miss him very much. We are grateful that he will remain with us until December 05, which will be his final day at Joy.
Please find Austin’s message to you below.
"I would like to start by saying how grateful I am for everything I’ve experienced at Joy. No message would ever be enough to thank all the people, staff, and parents who have supported me over the years. Unfortunately, due to personal family matters, I need to return to Argentina for an indefinite period, and that is why I made the decision to leave.
Even so, I’m leaving with a full heart. I’m truly thankful for having been part of this family, this warm and professional community that genuinely cares for others and, of course, for the children. Joy has been my place for many years, and I hope that all of you, parents and staff, continue enjoying this wonderful environment where every child, and every person, is part of one big family, and where everyone can grow.
Thank you, truly, for everything. I will carry these memories with me wherever I go".
Although we wish we could continue working together with Austin on the exciting plans we have for the near and distant future, we fully respect his decision. We know our families will join us in wishing him strength, happiness, and all the best in the next chapter of his life.
As we approach the end of the Term, we are pleased to share that Evelyn, one of our wonderful and trusted AK teachers, will be joining the PreK team for the remainder of the Term. She is well-loved by our students for her warm, cheerful, and engaging approach. In the spirit of transparency, we will continue to keep families informed as we finalize who will join Aina permanently from Term 2. We are grateful for your patience as we prepare this announcement.
Once again, we thank Austin for everything he has brought to our community, and we thank you, our families, for your ongoing trust and support. Together, we look forward to the future with confidence and care.

今学期の終わり、そして子どもたちが楽しみにしているファイナルパフォーマンスに向けて、日々あたたかいご理解とご協力をいただき、心より感謝申し上げます。ここ数ヶ月はさまざまな変化がある中で、保護者の皆さまが寄せてくださった励ましや優しさのおかげで、Joyコミュニティはこれまで以上に強く、温かい結びつきを保つことができています。
本日は、皆さまに大切なお知らせがございます。
PreKチームをAinaと共に支えてきたAustinが、個人的な事情によりJoyを離れることとなりました。2023年4月の着任以来、Austinは常に前向きなエネルギーとプロフェッショナルな姿勢、そして子どもたちや保護者の皆さまへの深い思いやりをもって、多くの役割を真摯に務めてまいりました。私たちにとって大切な仲間であり、離れることは本当に寂しい限りですが、12月5日まで在籍してくれることに感謝しています。
以下に、Austinから皆さまへのメッセージをご紹介いたします。
“まずは、このJoyでの経験のすべてに心から感謝したいと思います。これまで関わってくださったスタッフの皆さん、そして保護者の皆さまへの感謝の気持ちは、どんな言葉でも伝えきれません。個人的な家庭の事情により、しばらくの間アルゼンチンに戻らなければならず、そのためJoyを離れる決断をいたしました。
それでも、私の心は感謝でいっぱいです。ここは、あたたかくプロフェッショナルで、互いを思いやる本当に素晴らしいコミュニティです。そしてもちろん、子どもたちの存在は私にとって特別なものでした。Joyは長い間私の大切な場所でした。どうか、皆さま、保護者の方々もスタッフの方々も、これからもこの素晴らしい環境の中で、家族のように子どもたちや周りの方々と共に成長し続けていってください。
これまで本当にありがとうございました。この思い出は、どこへ行っても私の心の宝物です。”
私たちとしては、これからの新しいプロジェクトや長期的な計画も一緒に進めていきたかった気持ちもありますが、Austinの決断を尊重し、心から応援したいと思っています。ご家庭の皆さまにも、どうか温かいお気持ちで見守っていただければ幸いです。
なお、今学期の残りの期間については、子どもたちからも厚い信頼を寄せられているAKのEvelynがPreKチームに加わります。明るく、丁寧な関わりで子どもたちを導いてくれる頼もしい教師です。
また、2学期以降Ainaと共にPreKクラスを担当する新しいスタッフについても、現在慎重に最終選考を進めております。決まり次第、できるだけ早く保護者の皆さまにご報告させていただきます。どうかご安心のうえ、今しばらくお待ちいただけますと幸いです。
改めまして、AustinがJoyにもたらしてくれた多くのことに心から感謝するとともに、日頃から私たちを信頼し支えてくださる保護者の皆さまに深く御礼申し上げます。 これからもスタッフ一同、子どもたちのために最善を尽くし、皆さまと共に確かな未来を築いてまいります。
